Hidden beneath the floorboards for decades, we uncovered a weathered sign for Peters Diamond Brand Shoes, proudly bearing the name Berryville Merc. Co.  Recently we acquired a wooded hanger etched with Curlee Clothes and the Berryville Mercantile Company, as well.  Together, these pieces offer a glimpse into what our building once was: a part of a bustling hub for dry good, hardware, clothing and community life.

The Mercantile Treasures & Tiques now lives on as a part of that same historic space.  Long ago, Lee jeans to Munsingwear, and shoes to stories, this place has always offered something meant to last.
